Septic Tank, Air Ducts & Waterlines - oh my!

Yes, we are building a house that does not connect to the sewer. If we were in a subdivision, I'm sure it's standard protocol for builders to connect the house to the main sewer lines. This house is not in a normal subdivision, it's in what Queen Creek calls, Metes and Bounds (I don't even know what that means)...anyways, we have a septic tank.

We stopped by the property and they had just installed in the previous day or two. We took lots of pictures so we know where everything is in the even we need to access it for repair, and for maintenance.

The builders also started installing the duct work for the Heat and A/C, and the water lines (the blue and red lines). We were lucky enough to get rain this week too, like all day rain, which never happens in the Valley, which got the house all wet... ugh. So, of course I took a picture of rain inside of the house - hopefully, it'll be the last time we ever get rain inside the house. Paul's expressed his dislike for it raining on our unfinished house. He's worried the rain is going to warp the wood frame. I don't blame him, hopefully no more rain until the exterior walls and roof tiles are all on!

Here's the damn rain in the great room...no more rain until the walls are up please!!

Can't wait for more progress!!
